I've been working on figuring out what designs I want to use for Kathryn and Thomas for the Fall and Winter.
Here are the appliques that I am doing to coordinate K & T's outfits.
I'm appliqueing Diego on a
green monag crewneck shirt with a brown monogram and
brown gingham pants.
I am appliqueing Dora on a purple Monag shirt and pairing it with pink gingham pants.
I plan to do this dalmatian applique for both K & T. I am going to put the applique on a red gingham dress (with matching pants) and put it on a red shirt with red gingham pants for Thomas. K's dog will probably end up with a red bow.
I am putting applique on a shirt for Thomas and paring it with brown corduroy pants.
I'm using the fabric below for a pair of pants for Thomas. I am putting this applique on a sky blue shirt. I am making Kathryn a dress and pants set and putting the applique on the dress with a brown/blue dot bow on the doggie's head. I also plan to add a brown monogram to sky blue shirts for both "babies" to wear with the pants.
I am making it similar to the dress below. I have never re-used an applique or fabric for K & T (except for ginghams) so I can't believe I am doing this. It is just so cute though - I plan on buying the same shoes also!
I couldn't leave out Mickey and Minnie! Kathryn's will have a pink/white dot bow on top of the head with matching pink/white dot ruffled pants (similar to the ones shown below). Thomas's will go with red gingham pants. I just love little boys in gingham so I tend to go a little over board and make all his pants in gingham.
As much as I want to not everything
I make for K & T can match. Kathryn is so girly and loves princess
stuff and Thomas is obsessed with sports. I'm going to do the applique
below to coordinate with pink/white dot ruffle pants above.
This Santa applique for Thomas will go with the red gingham pants I am making to go with his dalmatian applique.
I'm not sure yet what fabrics I am using for the applique below. I'm torn between using red or pink
fabric. Any suggestions?
I am putting this on a shirt for Kathryn for pre-school. I am using the red fabric in the pic below for pants.
I am also going to pair the red dot pants with the dress below that I made Kathryn this past spring.
I plan to put this design on a turquoise gingham dress with matching pants. Kathryn is newly obsessed with Hello Kitty after going to a Hello Kitty birthday party a couple of months ago.
And we
must have the matching bow. I ordered this off
Etsy.
I am going to put this applique on a pink shirt in Michael Miller's gray ta dot fabric.
Love this new design! I plan to put it on a white shirt with a pink monogram.
Kathryn adores this applique so I
had to get it ; ) I am going to pair with either blue gingham or red gingham pants.
I am pairing this brown corduroy pants with a red gingham cuff. I am going to put this applique on a red hooded sweatshirt to match.
I am also
putting this applique on the bag below for Thomas to carry to
pre-school.
I am appliqueing this on a white crewneck shirt using the fabric below. The fabric is shown on the bias but it is a traditional up and down stripe.
I am putting this on a white shirt and pairing it with blue cord pants and then putting a blue 3 letter monogram on a brown sweatshirt.
I am putting this applique on a shirt for Thomas using the plaid below for the main body of the rocket.
To go with the rocket appliqued shirt I am making pants similar to these below with a cuff out of the fabric above.
I am using this fabric to make a pair of pants for Thomas.
My little boy can't get enough football!
I'm pairing the pants with a polo embroidered with the mini football below.
For Thanksgiving I am putting this applique on shirts for both Kathryn and Thomas. I am pairing them both with brown gingham pants.
These are the shirts I made them last year. They will be able to wear
these again this year. Kathryn only wore this shirt ONE time last
year. I could-not-get-her-to put it on.
