Christmas Shirts

I have been sneaking in a few Christmas and Thanksgiving shirts between my other orders. I love working on all these holiday shirts!

This applique looked like it was going to be super quick but with the 7 different fabrics it took me a little longer than expected! I love how the set turned out though so it was worth it!

Love this one!!

For a train birthday party.

This has got to be the cutest little outfit I've ever made. This is for a precious, chubby little 2 month boy.

For a baptism.

I know it can be hard making a decision about what appliques, fabrics, etc to go with. I have a few examples of some cute color combos that I recently put together for some customers that I thought I'd share. These fabrics would also look good on a white shirt.

This is a cute Christmas option. This dress is one I monogrammed and added ribbon ric rac is the reason you are seeing pink peeking out.

I love this Riley Blake floral print below. I appliqued an Elephant on a white ruffle shirt using the two fabrics on the right. I love the turquoise gingham with it too.

I only have a small piece of this polka dot on a white background. It is a Kelly's Kids fabric and it would look adorable as an appliqued letter on a larger applique. The turquoise dot would look super cute on a red shirt with my new flower applique, shown below. I have red long-sleeve shirts in size 2 and 6.

Sew Excited!

I am one happy appliqueing Mommy! I have been anxiously waiting for the completion of this "Southern Living" font. It is from the July 2011 issue, it was used for "elegant outdoor entertaining." I have not used this font yet (only because I just got it) but I will have samples to show soon.

Here is a new Monag item I just received. It is called a frill bloomer set, and I have it in a size 3-6 months. If they had a size 4 Kathryn would definitely have one!

Wish I could claim these dresses below as my work but they were done by a sweet (and talented!) customer.

Here are some of my recent orders.

I found this pic below on a blog I follow. I plan to applique my nephew's initials on a blue sweatshirt in the blue/brown tri-plaid that I used in the cupcake above. How cute is that going to be?? And, of course, Kathryn will have to have a matching one. Which then means I will have to make them matching pants, right?

Last night I counted and I have 136 appliques, 3 embroider designs, 2 applique alphabets and over 525 fonts. Well on that note here are a few appliques I have bought in the past week . . . . .

This was by request for my nephew. He loves all sports, he is such a little boy : ) I am appliqueing this on a sweatshirt for him to wear with his UT football shirt. This is an alphabet applique so it comes in every letter. A name could be added below the letter.

I got this applique off Applique Forum. I just love it and the colors. This is from my fav applique site, Appliquecafe.com. The lady, Rosemary, that owns it is so talented, and she is juggling this business with 3 children! If you are new to appliqueing you must read her blog (there's a link from her site). She has lots of helpful posts about doing raggy designs, using heat n bond lite and more.

This is another alphabet applique. Its name is 'Spooky Owl.' I think the fabrics used in this applique aren't doing it justice.

Another for my nephew (requested by my sister). I did this for a customer last week and it turned out so cute!

One of Kathryn's best friends' third birthday is coming up (2 weeks after hers), and his mom wanted a train applique for his train themed party. I used this applique this past weekend for the same little boy that I made the tree in the truck applique above for. I also did this one for his 2 month old brother. I'll post pics soon.

For my little princess ; ) I had planned to applique a Cinderella bust on a dress for Kathryn and make pants to match with this princess wand on the bottom of the pant leg. Well, that was until I was talking to Kathryn about it and she told me that she didn't want a Cinderella outfit, that she wants Ariel and Tiana. Of course, this was after I bought a made-to-match Cinderella bow off Etsy! So that just means that she will be getting all three!

Another one of Kathryn's good friends' little brother has a birthday coming up, and his is fish themed. I appliqued a '2' and sized the fish down and put it on the bottom corner of the shirt. I'll post pics of this shirt soon. I've been so busy I've fallen behind on my picture taking.

This is an outfit I made Kathryn last year. I came across it as I was going through boxes of her old clothes to sell. She would actually keep the hat on - it was the cutest thing EVER!

Big Brother Shirts

This is what these sweet little boys wore to dinner tonight to share their good news with their extended family. Congratulations A.N.!

This is another of Kathryn's little friends. She really hangs with the boys!

The love choke-hold!!

Cutie-Pie

Could this little boy be any cuter? He is modeling the Jon Jon I made recently. This is one of my baby's friend's little brother (got that?!).

Please keep in mind that I will be placing an order with Monag at the end of this month. Email me if you are interested in me ordering something for you.

Is there anyone else there that hates bishop construction and putting smocked inserts in longalls? I do (plus my mom, kindly, does not approve of my neckband and placket skills)! Thankfully, through a blogger friend, I found a lady that offers great prices. If you would like her name and number please email me.

I have more to share but I'll save that for another day!

Longall and Appliques

More new appliques.

This is solid, thread filled.

This is also a thread filled embroidery design. I love this for the chest of a polo.

Be sure to check out my 'Fonts'. I have added quite a few new ones.

I purchased the longall below for my nephew and, surprisingly, he has so many clothes that he doesn't need it ; ) It is a size 4T and the inseam is 11.75 inches and the length from the shoulder to crotch is 21 inches. I am selling it for $35, which includes the blouse and a monogram. Please email me if you are interested.

I also have this exact longall in red gingham. It does not have a blouse. I am selling it with a monogram for $26.

Yes, there's more! I have this Mary Michael Children's Apparel longall. It is piped around the arms and neck in white. The inseam is 12.75 inches and the length from shoulder to crotch is 23 inches. This would be adorable with a white monogram. I am selling it for $16, including the monogram. This can be used for a girl or boy. If you would like, I can add white bows to the shoulders for an additional $5. If you are local and would like your child to try any of these on before purchasing just email me and we can work something out.
